>> iMOVE
iMOVE is an information and guidance centre established by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research. It is located at the Federal Institute for Vocational Training (BIBB) in Bonn, Germany.
>> Our goals and tasks
iMOVE is aimed at supplying information on what Germany has to offer in the field of continuing vocational training – for decision makers in the private and public sectors as well as individuals around the world. However, we want to do more than provide information on training “made in Germany“:
“We want to bring people together”.
And in this respect, we see ourselves as a go-between for those who require and those who provide training or even those looking for partners in cooperation projects.

>> Hi Potentials! International Marketing for the Promotion of Study, Research and Training in Germany
The Joint Initiative “International Marketing for the Promotion of Study, Research and Training in Germany” was established in June 2001. It is a joint initiative of the Federal Government, the Länder, communities, science and research and business under the chairpersonship of the Federal Minister for Education and Research, Edelgard Bulmahn. The joint initiative instigates and supports measures which enhance the standing of Germany abroad while further improving internationally focused training and research programmes on offer. Continuing vocational training, the domain of iMOVE, is the third pillar of this initiative along with the areas of schools of higher learning and research.
