The 2nd German-Arab Education and Vocational Training Forum will take place October 12-13.
With the 2nd German-Arab Education and Vocational Training Forum, iMOVE and Ghorfa are continuing their strategic partnership of creating and maintaining networks for German and Arab vocational training providers, as well as for industries and service providers involved in developing the vocational training sector in the Arab world.
Once again, in 2010, the German-Arab Education and Vocational Training Forum will be under the auspices of the German Ministry of Education and Research.

Ghorfa and iMOVE "have chosen to seize the topic and run with it", Prof. Dr. Annette Schavan, Minister of Education and Research, stated during her keynote speech at the 1st German-Arab Education and Vocational Training Forum held in May 2009 in Berlin.
The positive response of the over 250 attendees from Germany and the Arab world, along with solid presentations and inspiring discussions, confirmed the Minister’s statement:
Education and Vocational Training is one of the definitive topics for current and future German-Arab relations.
The Arab states are working diligently to meet the demands of a growing population with a multitude of education and vocational training reforms and projects. Thus, the market for additional German-Arab cooperations in the field of education and vocational training not only exists, but is expressly sought after and desired by Arab partners.
During the two-day forum in October 2010, education and vocational training experts from Arab countries and Germany will report on the current situation, as well as on new projects and trends.
High calibre representatives of leading organizations from public and private sectors are expected.
Once again, the 2nd German-Arab Education and Vocational Training Forum will afford companies and institutions from the training and continuing education sector, as well as universities, the opportunity to become informed about existing cooperation possibilities with Arab countries and to develop contacts with decision-makers in the region.

300 Euros (plus VAT) for Ghorfa-members and education and vocational training institutions
400 Euros (plus VAT) for non-members and other companies
