>> iMOVE delegation visit to China, Shanghai, December 2004
iMOVE held its third delegation visit to China from 8 – 12 December 2004.The aim of this visit was to provide participants with an insight into the background and potential of the Chinese initial and continuing vocational education and training market.
A two-day seminar, followed by a cooperation exchange event, provided the framework for the Chinese participants, drawn from training institutions, associations and companies, to learn about the competence of German providers of continuing training as problem-solving partners in the field of vocational education and training.
The presentations made by the German providers, displaying their competence in the various EXPO-related specialist areas and exhibiting their portfolio to an audience consisting of more than 100 participants, formed the main focus of events. The event was organised in conjunction with the “Joint Conference of the Development Project of the Most Needed Talents in Shanghai”, a consortium of Shanghai authorities having some connection with training.
