>> Quality criteria for training providers and services
- The training organisation was established at least five years ago and thus guarantees sufficient experience in its area of activity.
- The organisation has at least five full-time staff members.
- The organisation is independent and autonomous. The programmes on offer are non-partisan, non-denominational and non-ideological.
- The management of the organisation has the education and training required to manage the business of the organisation. They ensure that the internal organisational preconditions for international activities are in place in organisations.
- Teaching personnel has the technical, methodological, personal, social, language and intercultural competence to be able to carry out the service on offer in a customer-oriented manner. To develop and expand these competencies, the management of the organisation supports the continuing training of personnel.
- The organisation has a high level of quality awareness, which is reflected in an internal quality management system. The management of the organisation acts to ensure that this system is implemented and adhered to. It has all the staff work to continuously improve processes and results. The basic principles of quality assurance and development are set out in writing.
- The interests and objectives of customers stand at the forefront in the development, execution and evaluation of the training services on offer and customer counselling. Market research is frequently carried out to assess needs.
- The teaching and learning materials which are used are state of the art in terms of content, methods and techniques, and are oriented towards customer needs.
- It is guaranteed that the time frame and the methods applied stand in a reasonable relationship to the learning objectives, interests and possibilities of customers and the content to be conveyed.
- In developing its programmes, the organisation takes into account current labour market trends and vocational qualification requirements in the respective target country, ensuring a high level of relevance to the field of practice.
- The training services on offer are based on qualified teaching and process plans.
- People participating in a training receive a certificate. At a minimum a certificate contains the name of the programme, the topic, the time frame for the event and possibly the number of teaching periods and the place where the programme took place. A certificate also contains information on the content of the programme.
- A comprehensive evaluation strategy is used to monitor learning success on a sustained basis. This includes a regular monitoring of learning success which is adapted to the respective training programme and an evaluation after the programme is completed which includes the participants. Programmes which have been carried out several times are evaluated comprehensively at least once.
- The prices of services on offer are in tune with the market and are based on conditions in the target country.
- The facility has information material conforming to customer needs containing information on the name and address of the facility, its legal form, sponsoring institution, its targets, areas of work and core competencies, the persons in charge and/or contacts.
- Information material including the Internet site is available at least in English and in the language of the target country as well wherever possible.
- Depending on the service on offer, customers are informed on:
- place, time and time frame
- target and degree if applicable
- target group
- teaching personnel
- contents and methods
- assistance
- preconditions for participation
- costs
- conditions governing the business/participation
- Prior to the commencement of the training programme, customers have the opportunity to obtain information on consulting requirements and possible applications of the qualifications which are imparted.
- Information and advertising material and respective programmes are accurate and do not create any unrealistic expectations.
- The training institution is not a subsidiary/branch of a foreign company or an internationally operating franchise company. The training institution is not merely a consulting company.
- No bankruptcy, insolvency or composition proceedings have been initiated or rejected for lack of assets against the company within the last five years and there was or is no liquidation entry in the Commercial Register.
